About Sam Hillier
Sam Hillier is currently a graduate student in the Department of Logic and Philosophy of Science at the University of California, Irvine. He is interested primarily in the philosophy of Rudolf Carnap, and also in epistemology, philosophy of science and philosophy of logic more generally.
He is a co-founder of the LogicWiki project, along with Waldemar Rohloff, Carla Valenzuela, and Kevin Zollman.
Teaching Experience
Sam has served as a teaching assistant for all three of LPS 29 (Critical Reasoning), LPS 30 (Intro to Symbolic Logic) and LPS 31 (Intro to Inductive Logic). He has also served as instructor for LPS 31 twice, in the Summer of 2005 and the Spring of 2006. In addition, he has also TA'd classes in Epistemology, Philosophy of Biology, and Set Theory.
